Salvation Army Breakfast Casserole
Provides breakfast casseroles on the 2nd Saturday of each month to the Salvation Army for their distribution to those in need.
Ingredients 4 eggs 1 cup Bisquick (the amount in the bag) 2 cups milk 2 cups bulk sausage (crumbled and cooked) or ham (cut into bite-size pieces) 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray the pan provided with a non-stick cooking spray. Spread the cheese and cooked meat evenly in the bottom of the pan. In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs and Bisquick with an electric mixer until the lumps disappear. Add the milk and blend until smooth. Pour this mixture over the cheese and meat. Bake in the middle of the oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until casserole is set and lightly browned. Cool slightly. Cover with foil and refrigerate or freeze.
